What
At the 2026 Crafting a Legacy Spring Luncheon, Houston Center for Contemporary Craft will celebrate the organization’s silver anniversary and honor Sara Morgan, its visionary co-founder and first board president.
The Spring Luncheon program will feature the honoree and guest speaker Edward Lane McCartney. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase stunning centerpieces and bid on jewelry and contemporary craft objects—as well as a special selection of works by artists from Sara Morgan’s private collection—in the highly anticipated silent auction.
Proceeds from the Spring Luncheon will benefit HCCC and its mission to inspire and connect people to the art and process of making. For 25 years, Houston Center for Contemporary Craft has been a thriving destination for the community to engage with this dynamic art form and served as a leader in the field and an exciting hub for contemporary craft artists and enthusiasts. Celebrated for its influential exhibitions, hands-on workshops, renowned artist residencies, beloved retail program, and unique craft garden, HCCC offers free admission and a welcoming environment to all visitors.
