What

In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, JNK Concepts — the restaurant group behind the recently-opened Houston restaurant Roka Akor (stationed on the ground floor of the 2929 Weslayan high-rise) — will host a special, one-day-only dining event to benefit hurricane relief efforts.

All five Roka Akor locations across the country (Scottsdale, Chicago, San Francisco, Old Orchard, and Houston) as well as JNK’s Indian concept Marigold Maison will participate in the fundraising event, which will be held on Thursday, October 19.

One hundred percent of the profits raised at Roka Akor Houston will be donated to the Houston Food Bank to assist with Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. Additionally, profits from Roka Akor’s four additional locations will be donated to Feeding America — a non-profit organization distributing goods to victims of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria.
