Formosa Melody Music Center invites Houstonians to celebrate Taiwanese culture and arts. FMMC, a performance group hailing from Yilan, Taiwan, will present an eclectic concert on September 24 that fuses Taiwanese folk music — performed on traditional Taiwanese instruments — with modern dance. The concert is one of several events hosted by The Houston Double Ten Celebration Committee in observation of the 112th Taiwan National Day, which falls on October 10.
