Picnic in the Park with SEARCH to help Houston’s homeless

SEARCH Homeless Services will host its annual Picnic in the Park fundraiser on Thursday, November 2 to raise money in support of SEARCH’s mission to provide hope, create opportunity and transform lives for the homeless individuals in the Houston community.

The event will feature delicious light bites from Houstonians’ favorite restaurants, including Brennan’s of Houston, Drexel House, Max’s Wine Dive, Grace’s on Kirby, Songkran Thai Kitchen, The Palm Houston Restaurant, Tiny Boxwoods, Sprinkles Cupcakes, Common Bond Café & Bakery, Ouisie’s Table and more. Complimentary wine will be provided by the Duchman Family Winery.

Attendees will enjoy live entertainment from KlockWork Band and a raffle. Last year’s event raised $588,045, and the money was put towards working to ensure that clients obtain permanent housing, increase their income, improve their health, and regain their independence.
