During the anniversary weekend of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s iconic and timeless “I HAVE A DREAM” speech, the Houston Museum of African American Culture (HMAAC), in association with First World Theatre Ensemble, presents the Houston premiere of Lois Moses’ “Say That He More Than A Dream.” Directed by Zuhairah McGill with choreography by Charles Tyson, Jr, this fact-based drama gives us another lens through which to view the lives of Dr. Martin Luther and Mrs. Coretta Scott King.

Be moved beyond the mountaintop as untold truths unfold in this gripping fact-based drama which chronicles the last years of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s life after his controversial “Beyond Vietnam” Speech at Riverside Church in 1967.
