For more than 22 years, Genesys Works Houston has helped talented high school students build brighter futures by providing the skills, experiences, and networks they need to thrive in college and their careers. This luncheon brings together community leaders to support and expand that mission.
This year’s program features a compelling Fireside Chat with Charlie Jenkins, CEO of Port Houston, and Bert M. Gumeringer, SVP of Facilities Operations at Texas Children’s Hospital, as they discuss how workforce development and sustainability go hand in hand.
The event will focus on Being the Bridge — connecting young professionals with sustainable career pathways while helping businesses cultivate the next generation of diverse talent. Guests will also enjoy a lunch, a silent auction and raffle, and live music by Raul Yzaguirre Schools for Success Jazz Band.
