A Carven Collective

BY // 03.26.15

This spring, Parisian fragrance house Carven Parfums debuts a smart scent for gentlemen while reviving a timeless men’s favorite. The new Carven Pour Homme cologne blends grapefruit and violet-leaf top notes with spicy heart notes and sandalwood base notes to emulate a man’s cool confidence — no surprise, given the team of debonair gents who created it: Guillaume Henry, Francis Kurkdjian, Thierry de Baschmakoff and Marton Perlaki. Feeling more retro? Look to the reintroduced Carven Vétiver, a woody, citrus fragrance first released in 1957 to honor Madame Carven’s husband, Philippe Mallet. The scent remains the same, but the new seafoam-green lacquered packaging was inspired by Madame Carven’s love for the color green. Exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue.
