After teasing the opening on social media for days, street-style star and Dallas darling Nasiba Adilova unveils The Tot Playhouse this week — her second retail store after flagship boutique, The Tot, opened in Highland Park Village this past November.
As most fashionable mamas know, Adilova and co-founder Miroslava Duma (mothers to little tots themselves) first launched The Tot as a website offering parenting advice, personal stories from famous moms including Dallas’ own Taylor Tomasi Hill, and an e-commerce shop with the latest in chic and tech-savvy children’s gear.
Nestled in a quaint bungalow on Lovers Lane, The Tot Playhouse stocks baby and toddler apparel, toys, personal care products, nursery furniture, and decor. The shop is also a treat for the senses, allowing customers to touch and test products before taking them home.
“We want our customers to have a truly engaging, interactive, and immersive experience,” Adilova says, “where they can get a sense of what our products are about and how they suit their individual lifestyles.”
In addition to retail, The Tot Playhouse has concierge specialists available in-store for demonstrations and baby registry assistance, and “Tot Talks” will take place on topics ranging from birth to childhood nutrition.
Perfectly timed for Mother’s Day, the store is throwing a grand opening fête this weekend (Friday and Saturday, May 12 and 13, 10 am to 1 pm). Bring the kids for crafts, flower arranging classes for moms, and a luxe giveaway featuring Cybex strollers, goodies from BabyBjorn, and more.
