High Style Pop-Up Shop Opens With a Special Gift for Harvey Victims

BY // 09.04.17

Tootsies began showing its heart to Harvey victims by contributing 10 percent of sales through the holiday weekend to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund. Today, the popular retailer announced that a Tootsies Pop-Up Shop, opening at noon today in West Ave, will offer one item of clothing free to any woman who has suffered serious loss due to the floods.

While customers are advised that there are a variety of sizes — small, medium and large — quantities are limited.

On this Labor Day, Tootsies is calling this event A Labor of Love.

“Tootsies is honored to help fellow Houstonians who are in need,” Fady Armanious said in a statement. “We are local and want to support our friends and family. We have selected styles to be able to give one piece per person to those who have lost their wardrobe during Hurricane Harvey.”

Armanious, Tootsies’ creative director, spent much of last week volunteering for Harvey relief, as his Instagram account showed.
