Highland Park Village is goin’ country, adding a new homegrown brand to its retail lineup. This June, bespoke boot label Miron Crosby is set to open above the Honor Bar.

Created by Texas natives and sisters Lizzie Means Duplantis and Sarah Means — who come from a fifth-generation cattle ranching family — Miron Crosby is a perfect confluence of high fashion and cowboy flair: The artisanal boots are made of exotic skins and leathers, and crafted with intricate stitching.

The Spring/Summer 2017 collection features a variety of styles, including an iconic tall cowboy boot, the midi-boot, and the shorty. Any existing silhouettes can also be personalized with different colors, materials, a monogram, ranch brand, or logo.

“We are hoping to afford [our customers] the opportunity to build an heirloom,” Lizzie Means Duplantis says. “We are creating boots that signify special events in people’s lives, something tangible that will always evoke a fond memory.”

In addition to boots for men, women, and children, Miron Crosby will also offer turquoise jewelry from Shiprock Santa Fe; belt buckles and barware from Reno, Nevada-based Comstock Heritage; beaded jewelry from Mignonne Gavigan; and other accessories collections.
