What’s next … what’s new … on the Dallas retail scene.

Retail maven Martha Leonard is the new director of sales for Forty Five Ten, Five and Ten, and Number One, hailing from Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Stanley Korshak. Welcome Martha!

New names to love at Forty Five Ten this month: Orto Parisi fragrance; Aurelie Bidermann dreamy jewels, Viktor & Rolf x Swarovski jewelry; and new designer names for women’s RTW: Julien David, Koi Suwannagate, Mark Cross (handbags), Thom Browne, and Tomas Maier, and Master & Dynamic Headphones, the white model designed by Proenza Schouler, one of only two retailers in the country to stock these.

Shakin’ at the Shak
The Women’s Shak at Stanley Korshak will carry Tanya Taylor, The Great, Tryb, and Designers Remix for Spring 2015.

Whisky in the Winter
Quixotic, the ingenious pocket square brand from SMU alum David Novak, has launched the limited-edition Whisky Collection — four pocket squares dubbed The Highlands, The Lowlands, The Speyside, and The Islay, after Scotland’s primary distilling regions. Made in blends of wool, cashmere, silk and cotton, the squares are the ideal complement to a winter wardrobe. Quixotic.co for more information
