In April, you’ll have a chance to step inside some of Dallas’ most beautiful houses and high-rises.
Turtle Creek Association’s Tour of Homes, held Sunday April 7 from 1 to 5 pm, features four glamorous residences including a single-family home owned by Travis and Stephanie Hollman, a cast member of The Real Housewives of Dallas. Dallas interior designer Jim Rimelspach, who worked on the Hollmans’ house, used such touches as Gracie wallpaper and a custom Murano glass chandelier.
Three high-rise residences with views of beautiful Turtle Creek below are also featured on the tour, including one done by Dallas interior designer Neal Stewart. Following the tour will be a separately ticketed post tour reception from 6:30 to 8:30 pm For tickets and information go to turtlecreekassociation.org.
The annual historic home tour sponsored by Park Cities Historic Preservation Society will be held on April 13 from 10 to 3 pm. It features some of the Park Cities oldest residences, including a home designed in 1924 by architects Marion Fooshee and James Cheek, and a 1918 Tudor by architect Hal Thompson.
You can also view the work of Dallas interior design firm Avrea Wagner for a 1924-built Tudor house near Armstrong Elementary School; and a 1916 Greek Revival with classical touches throughout. For tickets and information visit pchps.org
