Along with juices and acai bowls, Nekter has seven kinds of smoothies. From the new Health Nut with your choice of nut butter, banana, cashew milk, pea protein and agave nectar, and a touch of Cocao, to the Popeye’s Acai with spinach there’s something for every taste.

Nekter also has an orange juice based smoothie with strawberry called Orange Crush, the Mango Delight and Berry Banana Burst. Tumeric Sunrise is a fruity drink that fights inflammation and boosts your immune system. And Pink Flamingo has pitaya, aka dragonfruit.

Brewed + Pressed

3700 McKinney Avenue, Suite 108 & 1775 Payne Street, Suite 100

This coffee shop and juice bar was founded by Sohail Dar and Mike Heffelfinger. Now with two locations in Dallas, Brewed + Pressed is a great place to stop in for a smoothie. They call them shakes here, but have the same concept.

You can get a green, blue, white, “any juice,” or “any milk” shake. The blue includes activated pumpkin seed milk, frozen banana, activated raw almonds, blue majik, tocos and dates. They also have a Cali Shake with the pumpkin seed milk, coconut water, Stumptown coffee cold brew, frozen avocado, coconut butter, cacao, tocos, lucuma, cordyceps and maca.

Smoothie King

Several Dallas Locations. You know where your Smoothie King is.

If you have the Smoothie King app, the process is simple. Scan your app with a purchase of a 20-ounce smoothie on June 21 and you’ll receive a free 20-ounce smoothie to use between June 22 and June 27.

Jamba

Same as Smoothie King. You know where your Jamba Juice is.

Jamba Juice recently changed their name to just Jamba. Who knew? Anyway, the national chain is giving away free small smoothies from 2 pm to 5 pm on Friday, June 21. Choices are between a Watermelon Breeze, Vanilla Blue Sky, or White Gummi smoothie.

Red Mango

Red Mango, which seems to have closed most of its Dallas locations, is open in Richardson at CityLine. Or the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport. Or Frisco, if you’re way up there.

They’re offering 50 percent off any smoothie on Friday. At participating locations only.
