What: Night at the Museum Gala: Illuminate

Where: Perot Museum of Nature and Science

Who: Chairs Carrie and Steven Becker and Merry and Chad Vose; honorary chairs Deedie Rose and the late Rusty Rose; Museum CEO Colleen Walker; Mayor Mike Rawlings and wife Micki; museum mavens Ross and Margot Perot; patrons Betsy and Richard Eiseman, Caroline Summers, Jennifer and Tom Karol, Haley Pratt, Jodi and Jason Doughty, Veronica Ackels, Carolyn and Karl Rathjen, Nicole Small, and Jennifer Sampson

PC Moment: Opulent hors d’oeuvres, interactive demonstrations and four floors packed with scientific wonder made for a magical mix as the Perot Museum of Nature and Science opened its doors for the annual glittery gala. More than 1,000 guests glowed with excitement as they ventured from floor to floor, posing in the halo light photo station, making glow jewelry and accessories, and feasting under a canopy of stars in the interactive planetarium. The highlight of the evening: a grand unveiling of Ellie May — the museum’s nearly intact Columbian mammoth skeleton.
