What: The Buffalo Bayou Partnership “Dinner at the Dunlavy”

Where: The Dunlavy on the banks of Buffalo Bayou

PC Moment: Where better to salute the verdant exuberance of the bayou park than at the Clark Cooper Concepts event space overlooking the Lost Lake area of the linear green space? The partnership, which oversees the ongoing transformation and maintenance of the 160-acre Buffalo Bayou Park, had plenty to talk about with the display of plans for a hike and bike trail through downtown and discussions of new mixed-use developments along the bayou.

While no hand was tipped at this gathering, there was a map of the bayou east of downtown, an area for which BBP will soon reveal a master plan.

The cocktail reception on the terrace overlooking the bayou was followed by a seated four-course dinner with wine pairings from J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines. The fundraiser was chaired by Murad Ajani, Lisa Marshall and Don Welsh.

PC Seen: BBP president Anne Olson, City Councilman Jack Christie, Candyce Rylander and Andrew Lear, Bonner and George Ball, Lainie Gordon and David Mincberg, Miquel Correll and Mike Garver, Rabia and Omar Samji, Richard Dawaon, Van Ngo and David Ruiz, Erin Mincberg, Scotty Spiegel, Gayl and Chuck Carlberg, and China and Roberto Contreras.
