What: Houston Aphasia Recovery Center (HARC) “Let’s Talk” luncheon

Where: River Oaks Country Club.

PC Moment: ESPN’s College Gameday broadcaster and a living legend of televised sports, Lee Corso shared his story of life after having had a stroke and HARC’s pivotal role in his recovery. HARC is the only non-profit therapeutic wellness center for individuals with aphasia in the Houston area. Leading the days fundraising effort with a sellout crowd of 400 were chairs Emily Burguiéres Dalicandro and Emily Conner Hempel, and honorary chairs were Mary Kay and Gilbert Gaedcke, and Elaine and Fella Knight, Jr.
