PC Moment: Frost may have threatened the cold November night, but Nancy Rogers and Robert Weatherly worked some magic and found a way to turn up the heat for this year’s gala. Chairing the annual fund-raiser for The Family Place, the dynamic duo rallied all of their troops to the Dallas Design District and threw the bash of the season. Thanks to Nathan Johnson and his imaginative team at GRO Designs, the restaurant was transformed into a floral utopia: Gold painted Manzanita trees with Dendrobium orchids dripped from the ceiling, while bushels of white hydrangeas surrounded the candlelit room. Upon arrival, the well-heeled crowd was offered a musical snack from Grammy Award-winning band Los Lonely Boys.
