Lynn Wyatt Lands a Starring Role in Houston’s Super Bowl Week: The Scoop On the Swank Party Everyone Will Be Talking About

BY // 10.06.16

While party planning for Houston’s Super Bowl week is steaming into high gear, few can boast a more elegant gridiron event than the one celebrated in New York City last week.

Lynn Wyatt was joined by a coterie of fashionables at Mastro’s Steakhouse to spread the word on the Houston Super Bowl Host Committee’s gala “Luminaries of the Game,” set for February 1 at the spanking new Marriott Marquis Houston.

The Events Company’s Richard Flowers hosted the dinner party at billionaire Tilman Fertitta’s swank eatery, where the focus was not only on the Super Bowl gala, but also on La Wyatt.

Among guests were Town & Country style editor Whitney Robinson and style reporter Sarah Bray, all smiles over the magazine’s October issue. Celebrating T&C’s 170th anniversary, the issue includes a feature on Wyatt as one of the nation’s leading style legends.

Wyatt and former Secretary of State James A. Baker III will serve as honorary chairs of the gala that will honor Houston Texans owners Janice and Bob McNair.

Joining them in the spotlight will be NFL Hall of Famers who will entertain the gathering with their accounts of some of professional football’s most iconic moments.

You’ll need to start saving your shekels now, as the tables range from $50,000 to $150,000. The money goes to the Houston Super Bowl Committee’s charitable giving program, “Touchdown Houston,” which will support non-profits throughout the community.

Houston Super Bowl Host Committee president and CEO Sallie Sargent was also there to spread the news among guests that included Tony award-winning director and choreographer Rob Ashford and Kevin Ryan.
