Celebrated Collector Opens Her Home to Artful Trio of Jewelry Makers

Who: Host Marilyn Oshman; University Museum director Alvia Wardlaw, chatting with good pal gallerist Betty Moody; Beverly and John Berry; FotoFest co-founders Wendy Watriss and Fred Baldwin with executive director Steven Evans; Blaffer Museum director Claudia Schmuckli; Community Artists Collective’s Michelle Barnes; artist Susan Plum; gallerist Barbara Davis; photo curator Anne Tucker with Robert Morris; and Carol Neuberger.

PC Moment: The stars of the evening were the designers Eve France, in from NYC (also an illustrious retailer whose eponymous Houston shop is fondly remembered), South African talent Hlengiwe Dube, and the internationally renowned Joyce J. Scott, whose work melds art and craft while raising social issues.
