Top Dallas Chefs Get Into the Farm Spirit — and the Six-Course Dinner that Follows Brings National Starpower

BY Brian Walker // 09.14.16

The annual Chefs For Farmers food and wine festival and Celebrity Cruises will host this year’s Créme de La Femme Dinner, an exclusive culinary event bringing together six local and national chefs to honor the unique food and wine talent in the southern region.

The Dallas Electric String Quartet will entertain guests as they’re treated to a six-course dinner paired with wines, while each course is prepared by a different culinary expert.

Local chefs Misti Norris of Small Brewpub, Janice Provost of Parigi, Sharon Van Meter of 3015 Trinity Groves, and visiting chefs Lisa Donovan, Celina Tio, and Virginia Willis are all set to be part of this year’s culinary experience.

Proceeds from tickets to the dinner will contribute to food costs and kitchen-staff needs at The Family Place, an organization that empowers victims of family violence. Seating at the dinner is limited to 200 guests.
