Top Houston Chefs to Use 100 Wines in One Huge Night
BY Jailyn Marcel // 10.29.15One hundred wines from around the world take center stage at the 12th annual Houston Cellar Classic. The highly anticipated indoor-outdoor event is expected to attract more than 1,400 guests and will feature live music from The Revelators.
Participating chefs are tasked with creating a wine-inspired dish utilizing Étoile Brut, Newton Unfiltered Chardonnay or Cheval des Andes — all selections from Diageo-Moët Hennessy. The winning chef (chosen by a panel using blind judging) will receive a stay at the Chandon Condo at Silverado Country Club in Napa, California, which will include four tastings and a special winemaker’s dinner. Participating restaurants include Dish Society, Kiran’s, La Fisheria, Latin Bites, Peska Seafood Culture, Ristorante Cavour, Slow Dough Bread Co. and Weights + Measures.
