Luxe Asian bistros are lighting up nightlife across the globe. Powerhouses such as London-based Hakkasan, Buddakan in New York City and Tao in Las Vegas reign with culinary fervor — and now, Houston has a piece of the action with the opening of Tarakaan, a high-energy pan-Asian restaurant and lounge in the heart of Midtown.
Stationed at 2301 Main Street, the 6,000-square-foot space made its debut Wednesday night, showcasing spectacular sights, sounds, tastes and sips. Flip through the gallery to get a first look at the striking space.
Tarakaan is open on Wednesday from 4 pm until 11 pm, Thursday through Saturday from 4 pm until 2 am (food service until 11 pm) and Sundays from 11 am until 4 pm. Read more about Tarakaan here and here.
