Photographer Mario Testino‘s newest tome, Sir, opens a discourse on masculinity via more than 300 images of the world’s most captivating men, including Colin Firth, George Clooney, Mick Jagger and David Beckham. The 456-page book — Testino’s biggest volume to date — spans three decades and illustrates the evolution of a man’s style, image and societal roles.
Some of the images are provocative, others demure, but all are delicious. Best of all, some have never been seen before. Only 1,000 copies have been printed; each is signed, wrapped in Japanese cloth and packed in a shiny metallic slipcase. $700, at taschen.com.
