Aveda's NorthPark store has a shiny new look.

It’s not just retail anymore: NorthPark Center‘s Aveda boutique recently underwent a sleek redesign, focusing on the concept of experiences that go far beyond standard shopping.

Ten Experience Zones now allow us to meander through different areas, including haircare, beauty, bodycare, and aroma. There’s also a Chakra Experience Zone that features a rejuvenating aroma sensory journey.

In time for the bustling holiday season, Aveda’s new concept also offers a year-round gifting zone where presents can be wrapped free of charge in Lokta bark paper from Nepal, which the store has partnered with for almost a decade. (Aveda is known for using the best of modern science combined with Ayurveda, the 5,000-year-old ancient healing art of India.)

And, fear not — despite the store updates, Aveda’s delicious-smelling hair, skin, and body products are still available for purchase. The official grand opening is slated for January 2017.
