Your Texas Trunk Show Guide
This Silky Brazilian Hotshot and the Home Wessels Deserve Attention
By Sally Tamez-Martinez //
Known for offering emerging fashion and decor from designers across the globe, TenOverSix boutique inside the Joule Hotel is hosting two trunk shows worth noting this month.
First, on Saturday, August 12, from 2 to 6 pm, sip champagne with Brazilian designer Vanda Jacintho, who creates all of her products in Brazil using Italian silk, handmade embroidery, wood, and resin. Her designs span panneaux, sarongs, dresses, and jewelry, and she draws inspiration from the lavish Mediterranean lifestyle.
Jacintho’s panneaux pieces are super versatile — wear them as a knot dress, long skirt, short skirt, or even a necklace dress.
Then on Thursday, August 17, the founders of luxe home accessories and custom furniture label Tennen arrive at the store. While sipping java from Weekend Coffee, chat with Ethan Wessel and Sarah Swartz Wessel about their modern incense burners that will be on display during their personal appearance.
TenOverSix at the Joule Hotel, 1511 Commerce St., 214.261.4540.
