A star-studded affair popped up last week as fashionable Dallasites mingled with Gwyneth Paltrow and Monique Lhuillier to fête the new Goop pop-up shop in Highland Park Village. Until December 14, the boutique — a brick-and-mortar version of Paltrow’s successful lifestyle website — is showcasing curated fashion exclusives and discoveries, accessories and home goods, including those from Stella McCartney, Jennifer Meyer Jewelry, Band of Outsiders, and Bamford Watch Department, plus PaperCity contributing editor Laurann Claridge’s Claridge + King poplin boyfriend shirts. In an exclusive collab with Goop Pop Dallas, Lhuillier designed a capsule collection of 16 party pieces in shades of navy, white, gray and pink (Paltrow donned Lhuillier’s navy jumpsuit for the soiree), ideal for the festive celebrations you’ve RSVP’d to this holiday season. Available to browse at the shop, her designs can also be found on goop.com, making this the first time you can purchase items from Goop’s exclusive collections in-store and online. “Everything in the collection is made in America,” Lhuillier said at the event. “The fabrics are a lot of silk faille, silk crepe and lace, and I also created a custom print. Dallas was the perfect fit because it has been a great market for me, and the women here wear such beautiful things.” Designed by Dallas interior designer Michelle Nussbaumer — with furniture and decor items also available for sale — the intimate space at 3 Highland Park Village will also showcase blooms from Taylor Tomasi Hill through November 30.
