Foodie Alert: A Major TV Chef Is Coming to Houston — to Teach

BY PaperCity Staff //

She was Gourmet magazine’s executive chef and food editor of ABC’s Good Morning America, and now she’s on a national book tour that’s bringing her to Houston. Her name is Sara Moulton, and you’ll want to reserve a spot in her cooking class, where you’ll learn to make warm shrimp salad, Cubano burgers, and a Creamsicle pudding cake. Moulton, who just published her fourth cookbook, Sara Moulton’s Home Cooking: How to Make Everything Taste Better, will be using Chantal Induction 21 Steel cookware, a line of pots and pans made with Japanese steel. Moulton’s books and selected Chantal products will be on sale at the event.

What: How to Make Everything Taste Better with Sara Moulton

When: Friday, August 5

Where: Central Market, 3815 Westheimer Road (Moulton will also hold cooking classes in Dallas; click here for details.)

Tariff: $65.00 (UPDATE: We’ve been told that the cooking class is fully booked, but that you can call and be put on a waiting list. However, Moulton will be signing books for the public from 5 pm until 6 pm on the day of the class in Houston.)
