Houston’s New Saks Holds a Beauty Bonanza: All-Star Experts and a Free Gift Await
By PaperCity Staff //
The new Saks Fifth Avenue store at the Galleria is a luxury palace, and the massive beauty arena is its crown jewel — the cosmetics and fragrance department, which features stunning boutiques along with counters, is Saks’ second-largest in the country. Beauty lovers will be turning out in droves for a very special Beauty Symposium on Thursday evening.
Moderated by PaperCity social editor Anne Lee Phillips, the event is all about fall trends and features an all-star lineup of dermatologists, makeup stylists, and fragrance experts. Participating panelists include Yaneek Proctor, makeup stylist for NARS; Benoit Verdier, co-founder of Ex-Nihilo; Alan Ginsberg, director of sales and education, Decorté; dermatologists Dr. Jennifer Segal and Dr. Scott Smith of Metropolitan Dermatology Institute; and Aubrie Layne, celebrity makeup artist/owner of Lucky Cat Beauty Studio.
Naturally, it wouldn’t be a Saks Beauty event without a few great goodies. A special gift is included with attendance, and there will be additional giveaways following the symposium.
