What: The Junior League of Houston 71st annual Charity Ball

Where: The Junior League Ballroom

PC Moment: They sang. They danced. And they raised $750,000 for the league’s community programs and volunteer initiatives. As is tradition with the ball, a host of talents strutted their stuff in a professionally-inspired production, this year produced by Bill Bartlett and Alissa LaVergne. The popular musical review also spotlighted a talented Junior League cellist and pianist.

The evening included a Tea Room dinner, silent and live auctions and later dancing to the sounds of The Guzzlers. They ate, drank and were very merry to the ball theme of “Fire & Ice.” Applause, applause to ball chair Tanya Merla Leiber.

PC Seen: Junior League president Steph Magers and Bryan, Jason Leiber, Elaine and Brant Croucher, Beth Muecke, Stacy and Jason Johnson, Bethany and Ben Buchanan, Megan Duffey Armstrong and Taylor Armstrong, Stephanie Brouse and Schuyler Evans, Vivian Wise, Julie and Matthew Baughman, Ashlee Kilchrist, Vincent Ibewuike, Elia Streltsov and Shantelle Jackson.
