PC Moment: Roughton Galleries celebrated the addition of its newest exhibition, Texas Modernists, featuring work from 20th and 21st century artists including Otis Huband, Mark Lavatelli, Margaret Putnam, and Dan Rizzie.

Brian Roughton, founder and president of the gallery, spoke of his love for Putnam’s work — the artist persevered through ALS to continue her painting career. The late artist’s daughters, Karen Putnam Kinnison and Dorothy Putnam Darrah, attended the party to give a speech on their mother’s life as an artist and her inspiration.
