A brain. A princess. A jock. An outcast. And a rebel.
Few movies are identifiable by so few words, but few movies are as iconic as The Breakfast Club, the defining film of late director/writer John Hughes, who knew a thing or two about translating the teenage experience onto the silver screen. In recognition of the film’s thirtieth anniversary, The Breakfast Club will once again hit theaters in a round of exclusive showings all over the country for two nights only: Thursday, March 26, and Tuesday, March 31 (click here for theater locations and showtimes). In anticipation of the release, we decided to pay tribute to the music of The Breakfast Club and Hughes with a Spotify playlist of the best left-of-the-dial ‘80s tunes.
