New Dallas Restaurant With Killer Downtown Views Causes Quite the Stirr
The Next Brunch Hotspot?
By India Pougher //
A restaurant–rooftop bar combo has popped up in Deep Ellum, offering sprawling downtown views plus a menu that puts an unconventional Texas twist on classic comfort foods.
Stirr is the brainchild of Imran Sheikh and Asim Sheikh, the duo behind hospitality group Milkshake Concepts and owners of Uptown nightclub, Citizen. The restaurant serves up lunch, dinner, and, of course, brunch, with numerous craveable meals. On our list to try: pimento cheese tortellini, poblano pepper mac, lobster claw omelette, and jalapeño corn waffles.
Meanwhile, the drink menu overflows with sweet concoctions, namely one that’s as delicious as it is Instagram-worthy: The Girl From Dallas bubbles with Lillet Blanc and strawberry purée ice cubes.
Stirr, 2803 Main St., 214.983.1222.
