New Wedding Boutique Shuns the Traditional for Stunningly Original Looks
By Linden Wilson Jobe //
Row upon row of dreamy gowns drape the racks at Lovely Bride, a new boutique tucked into a Craftsman-style home in Uptown Dallas.
Yet these gowns aren’t for brides who favor the traditional. Gowns by Louvienne, Christos, Odylyne the Ceremony, Carol Hannah, and Limor Rosen drip with classic boho details: lacy off-the-shoulder sleeves, vintage embellishments, and unexpected silhouettes, materials, and colors. We’re mad about Odylyne the Ceremony’s feather swathed Harlow gown.

The New York City-based brand, founded in 2010 by Lanie List, prides itself as the original indie bridal shop, stocking niche designers in all of its locally owned stores (affianced Tory Moore runs the show in Dallas) and allowing up to four guests during a bride’s appointment to keep the experience intimate.
Lovely Bride, 2500 Routh St., 972.863.8812.
