What: Cocktail party to celebrate the launch of Forty Five Ten’s first resort wear line, KALITA
Where: Dina Arnott’s home
PC Moment: Grecian gowns in sunshine yellow, sky blue and raspberry red silk sway in the breeze as grapefruit mint cocktails are passed beside a sparkling pool. Yes, this is what summer fashion dreams are made of.
To celebrate KALITA’s launch at Forty Five Ten, guests were invited to view the full resort collection that Dallas women are falling in love with – and the feeling is mutual.
“It’s been so humbling and moving to have such a warm welcome from the Forty Five Ten family,” says designer Raechel Temily. “They have such a well-deserved reputation for being totally on point when it comes to their edit of must-have brands, so having Taylor Tomasi Hill seek us out to come on board was something we were thrilled about.”
Reputation and clairvoyant trendsetting abilities aside, Tomasi Hill’s selection of Forty Five Ten’s first resort wear line was not something she took lightly – and KALITA checked all of the boxes.
“My priority is to start with the best design – something innovative, something that catches my interest, something I haven’t seen before,” Hill says of her evaluation process.
“Quality is another factor. I’m looking for incredible fabrics with precise tailoring that can be worn by a variety of body types.”
And the final component? Attainability. “I want every woman to feel like she can own a piece of it, Hill says. “KALITA met all those requirements.”
Who: Hosts Dina Arnott and Taylor Tomasi Hill; Capera Ryan, Cate Ford, Kara Goss, Katie Walters and Kaleta Blaffer Johnson.
