Dallas’ Legendary Jacket Party Takes Over a Hip Hotel

PC Moment: Select VIPs hung up their Members Only jackets for the evening and ventured to the hip hotel to check out a new spread of clothing — the legendary jacket collection presented by DIFFA/Dallas.

Each year, celebrated designers create one of a kind pieces that hang prominently on display during the annual House of DIFFA gala as part of the silent auction. It has become one of the non-profit’s longest standing traditions to date, going 27 years strong. Supporters look forward to the grand reveal of the jackets almost as much as the actual gala itself. So much so, that the jackets warrant their own party.

DIFFA/Dallas board chair Chuck Steelman and House of DIFFA chair Sami Abboud mingled among the boisterous crowd who spent the evening sipping on Ketel One cocktails and sampling delicious bites from The Joule Catering while checking out the glitzy collection featuring some of our fave designers: Billy Reid, Carolina Herrera, J.Hilburn, Nha Khan and Michael Bastian.

The House of DIFFA “Arabesque” gala is set for Saturday, May 6, at the Omni Hotel and promises to be an exotic evening to remember.
