Meals on Wheels for Preschoolers Gets a Big Push
Renowned Author to Headline Houston Event

Serving as the only meals-on-wheels program catering to preschool children in the country, Kid’s Meals hosts its eighth annual Harvest Luncheon next month at the Hilton Americas Downtown.
Lunch is served as featured speaker, best-selling author Jeannette Walls shares a motivational speech based on her best-selling memoir The Glass Castle, which has sold more than four million copies worldwide and is being developed into a major feature film.
Guest will also have the opportunity to shop Kid’s Meals’ Harvest Market before the luncheon at 10 am. Expect diverse products from a bevy of local merchants. Kid’s Meals works to provide daily meals for the nearly 90,000 food insecure children across Houston. The annual Harvest Luncheon helps fund more than 700,000 meals a year.
