The lights dimmed slowly. Smoke permeated throughout the room. Vibrant beats from DJ Steffi Burns helped build suspense. And then … voila! It was time to meet the brand new Porsche Panamera, a luxe four-door sedan with a host of covetable features, including 550 horsepower.
Park Place Porsche, Roberto Cavalli, and PaperCity recently teamed together to raise a glass in honor of Porsche’s newest release during a sizzling soirée at eM The Venue in the Dallas Design District. As soon as word of the momentous occasion got out, it was simply a matter of time before socials circulated the buzzworthy news.
Pretty young things packed the cavernous space, eager to catch a glimpse of the hot new ride, while Roberto Cavalli enlisted a bevy of gorgeous models to showcase the latest collections from the fashion house.
As guests mixed and mingled, they periodically stopped to sample sips of Krish Coffee, Hendrick’s Gin, and Monkey Shoulder Whiskey, which helped spice up the already charged audience. Before we knew it, the highly anticipated moment had arrived …
“A confident presence that exudes calm authority,” enthused regional manager for Porsche Cars of North America, Steve Krysil, who spoke to the crowd about the sleek new sports car after a few welcoming remarks from the rest of the team. “The new Panamera is another testament of courage to consistently implement a clear aim.
“The courage, since the days of Ferry Porsche, has made Porsche, Porsche. After a steadfast seven years in the making, the new model is, to no surprise, already exceeding expectations and setting benchmarks for functionality and design.”
The evening also celebrated a partnership with Community Partners of Dallas as Park Place Porsche announced they will be the presenting sponsor for the nonprofit’s upcoming Change is Good campaign.
Seen on the scene: Park Place Porsche GM Patrick Huston; senior marketing manager for Park Place Motorcars, Liz Shafton; Roberto Cavalli manager Ceason Childress; Community Partners of Dallas’ Paige McDaniel and Joanna Clarke; guests Scott Reynolds, Pete Hodges, Ricky Ramirez, Sadie and Collin Carter, Sadiya Sarwar, Payman Pahlavan, Blake Eltis, Linda and Bill Kenney, Gina Ginsburg, James Gordon, and Paris Hughes.
