What: Houston PetSet Yellowstone-inspired party
Where: de Boulle Diamonds & Jewelry at River Oaks District
PC Moment: Western hats and boots were de rigueur when PetSet supporters sauntered (that’s what you do when in Western duds) into the dazzling jewelry emporium in celebration of the nonprofit and of de Boulle, the owners of which are longtime PetSet supporters. In fact, Karen and Denis Boulle, who founded their jewelry business in Dallas in 1983, boot scooted in from their home base in Big D to welcome the lively contingent.
The event could have doubled as celebration of the boutique’s new and expanded River Oaks District store with dedicated showrooms designed by luxury Swiss timepiece manufacturers Patek Philippe and Rolex, both with private suites for client appointments. de Boulle opened in Houston in 2015.
Joining his parents at the soirée was race car driver Nick Boulle and his bride Allison, always charming additions to any fête.
In good neighbors tradition in addition to serving bubbly and other adult libations, de Boulle partnered with River Oaks District sizzling hotspot Toulouse in providing yummy party fare.
The Yellowstone theme was a sort of prelude to the PetSet September 9 gala which will be headlined by the dreamy Cole Hauser, who stars as the beloved Rip in the series which is streaming only on Peacock and showing on Paramount Network (for those who still have cable).
PetSet devotees, animal rights activists and identical twins Tena Lundquist Faust and Tama Lundquist, along with Sue Smith, will chair the annual “Fierce & Fabulous Soirée” that will honor PetSet patron Sydney Faust.
PC Seen: Courtney Hobson, Tyson Faust, Debbie Pakzaban, Roslyn Bazzelle Mitchell, Cheryl Byington, Isabella and Charles Reimer, Sunny and Larry Brooks, Barbara VonPostman, Cathy Wolfe, Farrah Wohford, Debbie Pakzaban, and Brett and Kate Rutledge.
