PC Moment: When this year’s contributions to the biennial fundraiser were tallied with that of the 16 previous fundraisers, more than $6 million had been raised for athletic scholarships. None could be happier than chairs Cynthia and Bucky Allshouse and Linda and Dr. Walter McReynolds. Taking bows as honorees before the black-tie gathering of 300 were 2016 Distinguished Owl Club Award Recipients Susie and Mel Glasscock and Y. Ping Sun and David Leebron, Rice university president.
