Houston’s Most Exciting New Store
This Shrine to Red-Soled Shoes Brings Showmanship to The Galleria

Someone once told me fashion is magic — a whimsical world filled with frills, thrills and the occasional over-the-top price tag. French shoe maestro Christian Louboutin is bringing some of fashion’s signature wonder to The Galleria with the opening of his first-ever Houston boutique.
It’s one of the most anticipated arrivals associated with The Galleria’s multi-million dollar transformation, which has included other new stores such as The Webster and Celine alongside future restaurants such as Fig & Olive, Nobu, and Shake Shack (all set to debut in December). Embossed in blue lacquer, metallic spikes and a camouflage motif, the new Louboutin immediately commands attention. Simply put, it’s magical.
Stationed in Galleria II, the new 2,259 square-foot digs mark the brand’s 135th store opening globally, stocking Louboutin’s signature red soles for both women and men.
“Everything in this store is tailored to a specific customer, so it’s a bit different from the Louboutin boutique in Saks, which is also specifically tailored to the Saks customer,” Morgan Healy, Christian Louboutin’s PR menswear coordinator, says. “What’s also great is that we have the full spectrum of Louboutin’s men’s and women’s collections.”
An expansive red carpet anchors the space, connecting each of the shop’s secluded sections — a design feature (executed by New York-based architecture firm 212Box) meant to distinguish and separate the men’s and women’s shopping experience. Lacquered glass shelves display the plethora of Louboutin footwear, alongside handbags and accessories from Louboutin’s autumn/winter 2016 collection.
Also on display, the newest additions to Christian Louboutin Beauté — three new fragrances: Bikini Questa Sera, Tornado Blonde, and Trouble in Heaven.
