We all know that the air conditioning in River Oaks Country Club’s ballroom plunges to meat locker levels. We’ve shivered through enough luncheons and gala evenings to finally remember to carry a warm wrap. I refuse to shiver this fall during the fantastic Key to Design: A Tablescape Event hosted by the Kappa Kappa Gamma Charitable Foundation.
My choice for this and any other River Oaks Country Club ballroom event is the Alice Walker oversized, incredibly soft cashmere wrap. This double-face wrap comes is some 20 two-tone colors ranging from the lavender above (my fave, of course) to black and many color points in between.
