A Rare Barnes & Noble Restaurant Store Joins Shake Shack in Texas’ Hottest, New Shopping Center

What’s better than curling up with a good book? A good book with a glass of vino, in our opinion.
Legacy West, the sprawling mixed-use development set to open in Plano in March of next year, will house a new Barnes & Noble concept store. It’s the fifth of its kind, a 9,000-square-feet space complete with a restaurant offering an expanded menu and libations.
“Having a new Barnes & Noble concept store join Legacy West is a huge win,” says Legacy West developer Fehmi Karahan. “People can relax, discover great new books, or meet a friend to listen to an author speak and have a glass of wine.”
The new Barnes & Noble store joins a host of other Legacy West retailers and restaurants: Dean & DeLuca (its first Texas location), Shake Shack, Mesero, Toulouse, and Taverna, among others.
