Dallas’ Swankiest Happy Hour Gets Even Better
Drinking at This Mansion Still Matters
By Merrit Stahle //
Few things make us happier than realizing the Mansion Bar has extended its happy hour a full hour longer than it used to be.
Every Monday through Friday, the bar at the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek is offering new happy hour specials from 4 to 7 pm.
Enjoy half-priced wine by the glass, including Whispering Angel Rosé, Moët & Chandon, Impérial Brut, and Krug Grand Cuvée. Pair your vino with savory bar bites — we’re partial to the scrumptious charcuterie plate.
If you prefer a brew, select beers chosen by bartender Danny Caffall are available for $4 each.
Caffall has also created a new cocktail menu, with inventive drinks like the Baroque District (casamigos reposado, ancho reyes, watermelon; $23) and The Park Cities (Hendricks gin, watermelon, basil, St. Germain; $16).
Don’t worry … The Mansion’s signature Gin & Tonic, the Mansion Manhattan, and the Texas Margarita are all still available for $9.
Feeling creative? The bar lets you build your own martini with vodka or gin, dirty or dry, and garnishes of blue cheese, goat cheese, a twist, and cocktail onion.
Of course, that’s not all the swanky bar has to offer. On Thursday and Friday evenings, local musicians perform live. There’s something for everyone, including American pop, classic rock, and soulful piano. Click here for the schedule.
