Girls Night Out Makes a Major Comeback in Dallas with a Celebrity Twist
Models, Laughs and Theater Beckon
By Jane Rozelle //
We all know the golden rule in theater: The show must go on! That is indeed the case for the Dallas Children’s Theater Girls Party. After taking a two year hiatus, the annual fundraiser returned with a fabulous “joie de vivre” theme, letting everyone know that the non-profit’s girly bash had returned to the social scene.
Fête setters joined co-chairs Carol March and Carmen Surgent for a cheerful evening held at the beautiful Highland Park manse of Vibeke Jarnum (Dallas Children’s Theater board member extraordinaire.) The festivities were a sight to behold. Greeted at the door by models dressed in chic Française ensembles with a boisterous “Bonjour,” guests knew they were in for a fun evening of follies.
Sipping champagne cocktails al fresco and delighting in goat cheese tartlets, the ladies kept a close watch on their silent auction bids, competing for the covetable $2,000 gift card to Eiseman Jewels and VIP packages to the upcoming silver anniversary Cabaret Gala benefitting the Dallas Children’s Theater and staring celebrity impersonator Christina Bianco, who’s made appearances on the Ellen DeGeneres show.
