Where: Café Azur in the former Brasserie Max & Julie locale
PC Moment: It was a big night for French chef Sidney Degaine and his wife, Maria, celebrating their first eatery in the United States after commanding three successful restaurants in her native Brazil. The Montrose restaurant channeled his native Côte d’Azur in design and menu with the party fare including French foie gras tacos, salmon tartare, duck bruschetta, and truffle linguine. The Perrier Jouet Grand Brut flowed as did the Grey Goose and Miraval rosé from Provence.
