To mark the start of this year’s Dallas Art Fair, the Fashion Industry Gallery is hosting the Preview Gala this Thursday night, April 12. A festive kickoff to a fair frenzy of a weekend, preview night features drinks, delights and exclusive opportunities.
Some of Dallas’ top art collectors, galleries and art devotees will have the chance to preview and purchase the special works exhibited in one powerhouse lineup.
While it may be one of the biggest events of the arty weekend, it is also one of the most impactful, as proceeds go towards the Dallas Museum of Art, the Nasher Sculpture Center, and the Dallas Contemporary, also known as the “Big Three” of art in the city. Purchase a Patron Pass to get the party started even earlier in the night. These uber VIPs get to arrive at 6 pm.
The fun doesn’t end at the stroke of midnight either. Can’t make it to the preview? No need to be discouraged. The Dallas Art Fair runs through Sunday, April 15 — and there are plenty of chances to feast your eyes on all the modern art your heart desires.
