Texas’ Best Ballerinas Ditch the Tutus for the Runway
Are You Ready for a Fashion Showdown?
By Rosie Roberson //
Those visions of sugar plums dancing in our heads will soon come to life at the 8th annual Tutu Chic presented by Texas Ballet Theater and Stanley Korshak at the Winspear Opera House on Thursday, December 1.
The luncheon, which benefits the Texas Ballet Theater, features a fashion show with appearances from gorgeous dancers modeling designs by Cynthia Rowley. It’s sure to be one of the sweetest events of the holiday season, so grand jeté your way over to the Winspear for the can’t-miss show.
The event kicks off Texas Ballet Theater’s Christmas event season, followed by performances of The Nutcracker at the Winspear Friday, December 2, through Sunday, December 4, and a Sugar Plum Fairy Children’s Tea at The Crescent Hotel on Sunday, December 4. (No, it doesn’t get any cuter than that.)
