Opened in East Dallas in 2012, Hypnotic Donuts was founded by Amy and James St. Peter. The popular donut shop has since expanded to Denton as well. Along with the classic glazed and cake donuts, Hypnotic offers some crazier options like the Canadian Healthcare with maple frosting and a slice of bacon and Peace’Stachio with brown butter glaze and crushed pistachios. It was also one of the first spots in Dallas to offer vegan donuts, and sells chicken biscuits and kolaches.
