A First Look at the Cutting-Edge, World-Class Wellness Treatments at Canyon Ranch Austin — The Largest Spa Resort in Texas Opening This Month
Circadian Science, the Longevity Movement, and Glass Skin Are Where Beauty is Heading

“I’ll have what she’s having.”
In early spring, Canyon Ranch Austin hosted an intimate lunch in Dallas where Landman star Ali Larter shared her wellness tips, which included everything from drinking celery juice every morning to moisturizing five times per day. An emphasis on women’s wellness at every age lies at the heart of Canyon Ranch Austin’s 600-acre wellness resort, so it made sense that they tapped Larter to share her wisdom. Let’s just say that, after seeing the radiant 50-year-old actress in person, we all took NOTES.
Canyon Ranch Austin is the first ground-up resort in the company’s history, and the single largest investment since its founding in 1979 ($500 million in the initial phase). The spa occupies 40,000 square feet and offers 40 treatment rooms, in addition to a salon, boutique, lounges, hydrotherapies, and The Springs — an outdoor oasis of pools, plunges, showers, and gardens. At PaperCity, we’re particularly excited about the Women’s Wellness Collective, the first concentrated program and practice at a resort devoted to women’s health and well-being.
Of course, Canyon Ranch’s Texas ties run deep. Austinite Mark Rivers serves as the company’s CEO. John and Cami Goff, the principal owners, live in Fort Worth, where Canyon Ranch also operates a wellness club and spa. (Editor’s Note: Canyon Ranch Fort Worth’s Hungarian Mud Wrap Ritual — on the only Vichy table in North Texas — was my favorite spa treatment of 2025.)
With Canyon Ranch Austin opening later this month on October 15, we’re sharing an exclusive first look at the cutting-edge, world-class treatments that will be offered at the largest spa in Texas. In previewing the offerings, what unites them is a forward-thinking approach to where beauty is headed.

Putting Skin on the Clock
Wake up, babe. It’s 2026, and your 10 am facial shouldn’t be the same as your 6 pm facial.
With its opening, Canyon Ranch Austin exclusively launches New Zealand skincare brand RAESO onto the U.S. spa scene. Canyon Ranch Austin, which treats the body as an interconnected system, now brings circadian science into its approach, operating from the guiding philosophy that skin has a rhythm of its own.
In “putting the skin on the clock,” Canyon Ranch and RAESO tailor the products and protocol to what skin needs in that moment at that specific time of day during the Circadian Skin Renewal Facial. The 80-minute, $430 signature service works with the skin’s natural rhythm and pairs RAESO’s circadian skincare with Ionix OcyLight technology. In the morning, the facial aims to defend, energize, and sculpt. During the evening, the facial repairs, replenishes, and deeply hydrates.
Your sleep, hormones, and metabolism follow a 24-hour rhythm. Why wouldn’t your skin then, too?

You Had Me at “Glass Skin”
How do we support healthy, resilient skin over time?
Canyon Ranch seeks to move beyond traditional anti-aging, focusing on skin health (at a cellular level), resilience, and longevity over fads and a quick fix. That’s where VENN’s Longevity NMN5-EGT Ampoule comes in, as Korean beauty slides into longevity science.
Korean skincare’s pursuit of radiant “glass skin” inspired the 80-minute VENN Glass Skin Facial ($430). The signature treatment includes deep cleansing, resurfacing, probiotic-rich formulations, and Exosome and PDRN ampoules to support hydration, renewal, and resilience. A sculpting massage follows, creating the sought-after “glass-skin glow.” The facial culminates with the Skin Longevity NMN Ampoule, which the body utilizes to produce NAD+. What is NAD+, you ask? It’s the molecule involved in cellular energy metabolism and maintenance.
I’ll let Canyon Ranch handle the science, though. Give me “Glass Skin for $430, Alex!”

A Sculptor in Residence
Next time you’re feeling particularly puffy (or have an event that merits a snatched jawline), remember these two important words: buccal massage. Canyon Ranch has long-touted the power of therapeutic touch, and high-touch beauty is more important than ever.
Canyon Ranch Austin will be the first U.S. location to offer Irene Forte’s buccal massage, an intraoral massage that works the face from both the inside and outside of the mouth. By releasing deep facial tension, this 80-minute treatment improves circulation and, drumroll please, naturally defines facial contours. During the $450 Buccal Facial, a skilled aesthetician pairs this signature Irene Forte quadruple massage sequence with Phytomelatonin and a hydrating hyaluronic acid sheet mask.
The new luxury? It’s high-touch. And Canyon Ranch Austin is leading the way.
Canyon Ranch Austin opens on October 15.
