The Wildest Race Ever Will Leave You Doused in Color: Epic Dallas Run Returns and It’s Super Sized

The most colorful day of the year is almost upon us. The Color Run Hero Tour returns to Dallas, bigger and better than ever, on Saturday, March 10. The popular event, now in its seventh year, is a wild 5k race, where participants are doused in color every kilometer.

Every tour has a different theme, and, if you haven’t already guessed, this year is superhero themed. The course features two “SUPER” zones, where runners are coated in twice the color, and a Finish Festival with the most activations in the history of The Color Run.

The festival will include a Grub Garden with food vendors and outdoor seating; a main stage with music, dancing, and more colors; a foam area; and the Hero Zone, a cute superhero photo-op with a trampoline, so you can look like you’re flying.

The Color Run in Dallas will benefit local charity North Texas Food Bank, a hunger relief organization.

The 5k will take place at Dallas’ Fair Park on Saturday morning, with a start window from 8 to 8:45 a.m. There’s a pre-race party at the start line with music, dancing, warmup stretching and giveaways.
